| BIOGRAPHY |
Since 1965, Edie MacDonald has been a dedicated volunteer and timely Elk Grove community activist. From
1978 to 1991, Edie served as a volunteer trustee on the Elk Grove-Cosumnes Cemetery District´s board of
directors and then served for two years as the district´s administrator. In 1977, Edie helped with the
formation of the Elk Grove Historical Society. As a charter member, she served as the society´s treasurer
for 15 years. Edie´s persistence in the preservation of open space helped shape Elk Grove´s development,
ensuring park sites during urbanization.
