POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

• All swimmers must wear proper swim attire (nylon, lycra, spandex, tops and bottoms). No street clothes, cut offs, sweat pants, or t-shirts permitted in pool.
• All persons entering must pay an entrance fee.
• No flips or twists off deck.
• All children entering the facility under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
• U.S. Coast Guard approved type II or III personal lifejackets are allowed in the pool. (Cosumnes CSD lifejackets are available upon request on a first come-first serve basis)
• Children not bathroom trained must wear disposable swim diapers (available for purchase).
• No smoking anywhere inside the facility.
• No alcohol or glass containers allowed in pool area.
• No running or horseplay.
• No animals are allowed in the pool or pool area.
• Patrons wearing lifejackets must be accompanied by an adult within arms reach while in the pool.
• All patron behavior is subject to manager approval.

Wackford Aquatic Complex Only:

• Diving is only allowed in the competition pool.
• Patrons wishing to swim in the competition pool must be able to pass a swim test (swim 25 yards unassisted).
• The lanes in the recreation pool are for lap swimmers and swim tests only.

Jerry Fox Swim Center Only:

• No diving.
• No swimming in the slide pool.
• No walking on the dividing wall between the main pool and slide pool.

Slide Rules:

• You must be at least 48” tall to ride this slide.
• Please enter the slide in a sitting position.
• You must ride feet first, lying flat on your back.
• Arms and hands must remain inside the flume at all times.
• Stopping on the slide is not permitted.
• Only one rider at a time.
• Swimwear with zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal is not permitted.
• Operational weight limit: 1 person, 300 lbs.
• CAUTION: Pregnant women and patrons with heart conditions are not allowed on the slide.
• Leave the slide pool quickly and orderly at designated exit.

Diving Board Rules (Wackford Aquatic Complex):

• All patrons wishing to use the diving boards must pass a swim test (swim 25 yards unassisted).
• Only one person on the board at a time.
• You cannot be on the board until the previous person reaches the side of the pool.
• Front flips, jumps, and dives only.
• Only one bounce on the board.
• Exit the diving area promptly after jumping off the board.
• No swimming in the diving area.
